WestAus assists and supports vulnerable people in crisis within the Peel community to find assistance that fits individual needs, responding with flexibility, respect and dignity in a culturally appropriate way.
WestAus has a fund available for those in crisis for one-off payments.
WestAus have a variety of housing options available for individuals, families, and those escaping domestic violence.
WestAus offer advice for clients that need support with their tenancy for private rental accommodation.
WestAus sponsors healthy breakfasts at local schools to encourage good health among children.
WestAus Crisis & Welfare Services has been in operation since 1992 and since 1994 has operated in the Peel region. We offer a variety of services to the community such as: Crisis Support, Emergency Accommodation, Food Aid, Advocacy & Referral, Tenancy Advice & we also run the Healthy Breakfast Club.
Am I Eligible?
To seek financial assistance, assistance with rent arrears or assistance with accommodation through WestAus Crisis & Welfare Services, it is a requirement that you are currently residing within the Peel Region & that you are experiencing financial hardship. If you fit this criteria you may be eligible for assistance through WestAus Crisis & Welfare Services.
